Emergency Services The dedicated personnel of Canyon Lake Fire/EMS are paid professionals cross-trained in both Fire Suppression, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services. All Operations personnel are dually certified through the Department of State Health Services from an EMT Basic level to a Licensed Paramedic level and Texas Commission on Fire Protection at a minimum level of Firefighter Basic. There are six front-line ambulances that are staffed 24/7 with Paramedics. We have three additional ambulances to provide additional capabilities to handle peak-time emergencies.
